As Garmin GPS

How do you easily compare Garmin GPS devices? At the time of this writing, GPS, Garmin has listed on page 27 of the Automobile GPS, 10 basic palm, handheld mapping, 26, 10 GPS fitness, cycling and 4. These figures are current units. They do not include sales or other specialty models, such as maritime, aviation and motorcycle units.

Garmin has a feature on the site of this level, you can compare four GPS units side by side in more detail. Here's an example of how to do this walk.

Open another browser window and go to the Garmin website. This article can be read in this current window and run the comparison in another window. Just go back and forth between the windows, how to proceed.

For our example we want to compare GPS units in Garminnew Garmin nüvi 1200 Series Floating on the Garmin website, the mouse pointer over the "On the Road" link on the left side of the screen. This will open a drop-down box where the "automotive". This lists all the latest GPS devices for cars.

On the right side of the screen displays a small square box of each unit. Click this box to the nuvi 1200, 1250 and 1260T. This shows a check mark in each box.

If you select the unit for comparison, scrolltop or bottom of the screen and click "Compare". These are the units that must occur in a table side by side comparison of all available features.

Here, on that table and look for the shaded rows. The gray shading indicates that there are specific differences in function between the units in comparison.

Garmin does not allow the comparison of the current device with the unit ceased. If you want to do this, you candiscussion table for each unit separately and copy them one at a time from the Garmin website and paste it into an Excel spreadsheet. Once in Excel, you may need to assume some functions in lines of movement of a column as some features that are not listed in any of the other devices listed.
