GPS consists of three parts, space, control andthe user. Space refers to the satellite, control refers to the control center on Earth, and the user is the person who manages the GPS.

Satellites

There are currently 24 satellites orbiting the Earth every 12 hours. They were originally created by the UP Department of Defense for military purposes in life, but are now also used for civilian purposes. A GPS receiver must lock in at least three satellites and longitude to give a 2DWide and four or more satellites to give a 3D position longitude, latitude and altitude.

If the GPS receiver, the position was established, other measures of speed can be calculated as the user is traveling, the distance traveled, storage, and information about sunrise and sunset. When the user enters their destination, so the distance from the target can also be tracked.

Control stations

Currently there areeleven control stations on earth, which tracks the satellites and send data to the master control station. With eleven centers, each with two satellite centers, or more to be seen. There are plans for 5 stations, which means more control, that each satellite would be seen by at least three of them.

Some of these errors are caused by the delay in the signal, since the signal levels of the atmosphere from tall buildings or the Rockies, which will increase the time for the signal to reach the recipient, or the number and location of reflection to be transmitted to satellites .
